Progressive Majority has a clear and bold purpose: To elect progressive champions who will help change the direction of this country. We will do this by building a nationwide member network that will provide much-needed early support to progressive candidates - helping them to win elections and bring our values back into the halls of government.

Progressive Majority is your one-stop connection to innovative and idealistic candidates working to build a practical — and progressive — future. Progressive Majority will foster the emergence of a talented "farm team" of future progressive leaders and decision-makers in Washington, DC and in the states. We know it's not going to happen overnight. But it can happen with disciplined strategies, determination and yes, your dollars .

It's time to turn up the heat. Progressive Majority members need to lead the way against the anti-worker, anti-family, anti-environmental agenda being pushed by the Bush Administration and the conservatives who control Congress. But that's not all. Progressives must also challenge and embolden Democrats to fight against the conservative tide in Washington, DC and state legislatures throughout the country.

In this political cycle, Progressive Majority will provide early seed money for promising progressive candidates, focusing on Congressional races. We will also conduct outreach, recruitment and training to create new classes of top-flight progressive candidates for key federal, state and local races — and we will provide the campaign support necessary to put these candidates in office.

Progressive Majority also intends to act as a hub for progressive thinking and programs. Progressive Majority will connect you to:

Progressive Majority is based in Washington, D.C. with state offices in Pennsylvania , Washington State , and Wisconsin . We are currently expanding into Colorado and Arizona.  Contact us !

Are contributions to Progressive Majority and Progressive Majority recommended candidates tax deductible?

Progressive Majority is registered with the Federal Election Commission as a political action committee. Contributions to political entities and candidates are not deductible for federal income tax purposes.

What is the Racial Justice Campaign Fund?

The Racial Justice Campaign Fund is a designated fund within Progressive Majority committed to supporting and electing progressive people of color at the local, state and federal levels. Contributions designated to the Racial Justice Campaign Fund will be used exclusively for this purpose. Learn more about the Racial Justice Campaign Fund.

How is Progressive Majority different from other progressive groups?

Progressive Majority will make a difference and win elections by creating a national network of donors who are willing to contribute to Progressive Majority's slate of progressive candidates , including progressive candidates of color . How does my contribution help?

Your contribution will help progressive candidates campaign around the country. With the support of concerned progressive benefactors, candidates are able to run and prevail in their respective races. If you designate your donation to benefit a particular candidate, your gift will be sent to the candidate with the promise that they have support from progressives around the nation. If you would like your donation to specifically benefit the Racial Justice Campaign Fund, your gift will help to elect Progressives of color at all three levels of government.
